Like many love stories, ours started online through Coffee Meets Bagel, which, yes, is exactly as charming as it sounds. We matched, we chatted, and before long we were hanging out for the first time doing what any couple of hopeless romantics would do: watching My Neighbor Totoro with hot chocolate in hand. Cozy, wholesome, and honestly a pretty great first impression.
From there, things clicked. We discovered a shared love of travel and a mutual appreciation for a good mall day, because sometimes the best afternoons are spent trying on clothes, testing every lotion at Aesop, and ending with a proper sit-down meal. Whether we're exploring a new city or just wandering around with nowhere to be, we always seem to find a way to make it an adventure.
Tristan had made it his New Year's resolution to propose, and he delivered. On a sunny morning in Solvang, under the gentle mist of Nojoqui Falls, he faced Angie hand in hand, and asked to marry her, and somehow Angie was still completely surprised. Peaceful, beautiful, and perfectly them, the kind of moment that feels like it was always meant to happen. She said yes, obviously.
Now, we're gathering our favorite people to celebrate with us in Arlington, and we couldn't be more excited. Thanks for being part of our story.
"We can't wait to begin forever together."
